Install MauLauncher

  • Download MauLauncher.zip and extract it to a folder on your computer.
  • Run Launcher.exe from the extracted folder.

Open client and inject

  • Start the OTClient where you want MauBot to run.
  • Use Launcher to inject MauBot into that client.
  • If you cannot see the client, press the button "Custom" to select the client.

If you inject while your character is already online, press the Game Store button or a similar client button to make Mau start.

Step by step

  • Go to the hunting area where the hunt should start.
  • Open the Creator interface and press Start.
  • Walk around the hunt normally. The bot records the waypoints as you move.
  • Return close to the first waypoint to close the loop.
  • Press Save. After saving, open Walker and load the new hunt.

For stairs, holes, ladders, teleports, rope spots and doors, use STAND or the correct Creator action on the exact SQM.

Record the hunt loop

  • Go to the hunt, open Creator and press Start.
  • Walk around the hunting area and return close to waypoint #1.
  • In Creator Actions, press Go Refill while waypoint #1 is visible on screen.

Record the refill part

  • Walk from the hunt to the refill location.
  • Add the needed refill actions, such as Sell Loot, Buy Refill, deposit, travel, NPC Say or other actions used by your route.
  • Return from refill back to the first waypoint.
  • Press Save near waypoint #1. After saving, open Walker and load the new hunt.

Do not save or add Go Refill far from waypoint #1. The bot blocks this because it can break the hunt loop.

Exact SQM movement

  • Use STAND when the character must step on the exact tile.
  • Use action waypoints for behavior that is more than walking, such as Open Door, Rope, Shovel, NPC Say, Wait HP, Wait Mana, Sell Loot and Buy Refill.

Basic usage

  • Open Walker and load the hunt you saved in Creator.
  • Review Main, Refill, Alarms and Lists before starting.
  • Press Start. The bot follows the route and uses the hunt type behavior selected in Walker Config.

Single

  • Best for simple hunts where the character should kill one creature at a time before moving to the next waypoint.
  • The safest choice for narrow caves, low density spawns or hunts where luring is not needed.

Cait

  • The character keeps moving and caiting non-stop based on the Speed percentage in Walker Config.
  • Use it when the route itself is enough to lure creatures and you do not need the bot to stop in rooms.
  • Anti Lost can control Cait behavior so the character does not run too far away from the intended route.

Cait + Anti Lost

  • The bot caits continuously, but Anti Lost keeps the creatures and the route under control.
  • Good for open areas where monsters must stay on screen instead of being dragged too far.

Cait + Smart Cait

  • The route uses normal Cait behavior, but Smart Cait actions can be added in specific rooms.
  • Perfect when most of the hunt should keep moving, but some rooms need a controlled local cait to gather and kill creatures there.
  • The Smart Cait speed options can slow this behavior down for players who do not want maximum speed.

Box

  • Requires a BOX action placed on the exact SQM where the character should stop.
  • The bot stops when it finds X creatures and continues when the count drops to Y creatures.
  • Best for planned rooms where you already know the correct stop position.

A-box

  • Automatic Box. The bot decides when to stop based on nearby creature count, without requiring a BOX action on the route.
  • Use it when the hunt has many possible box spots and you want the bot to choose naturally while walking.

A-Scait

  • Automatic Smart Cait. The bot detects when there are enough creatures in the current area and starts caiting there.
  • When there are not enough creatures anymore, it stops the local cait and continues the route.
  • Best for dynamic hunts where the bot should decide the cait area by itself instead of relying on manually placed Smart Cait actions.

If a hunt feels too fast while caiting, lower the Smart Cait or Cait speed settings instead of changing the route.

What Auto Explorer does

  • Auto Explorer is used when you want Mau to discover the hunt map and create a route automatically.
  • During Phase 1, the bot takes map snapshots, finds unexplored frontiers and walks short generated paths to reveal new areas.
  • When the map is complete, Mau builds the final loop, creates regular waypoints and prepares the hunt for Mau Editor.

What gets saved

  • The final editor hunt includes waypoints, snapshots, mapped tiles and tile item IDs used by the web editor preview.
  • This is why Auto Explorer hunts can be opened later in Mau Editor with map grid, sprites, nodes and editable actions.

Creatures are temporary blockers. Auto Explorer route generation is designed to map the tile route, not permanently avoid every creature standing on the path.

Snapshots and frontiers

  • A snapshot is a scan of the visible map around the character.
  • A frontier is an edge of the known map where there may still be unexplored walkable tiles.
  • Mau picks a reachable frontier, generates a short path to it, walks there and records another snapshot.

Loop completion

  • When no useful reachable frontier remains, Mau validates the map and builds a loop from the explored area.
  • The last part of the loop is connected back near the first waypoint so the hunt can repeat smoothly.
  • Special tiles such as stairs, holes, ladders, ropes and teleports should become STAND or action waypoints when needed.

Hunt type

  • Auto Explorer uses the same hunt type logic as normal Walker hunts, such as Single, Cait, Smart Cait, Box, A-box and A-Scait.
  • Choose the hunt type before saving, because it becomes part of the saved hunt configuration.

Free Will

  • Free Will lets the combat/walker behavior act naturally while Auto Explorer is mapping.
  • Use it when the character should fight, cait or box according to the chosen hunt type while exploration continues.

What it changes

  • Path Style changes the final generated waypoint path, not the raw map snapshots.
  • After Phase 1, changing Path Style rebuilds the waypoints so you can preview different routes before saving.
  • Regular nodes are spaced to avoid unnecessary duplicate nodes while keeping action waypoints such as STAND intact.

Styles

  • Basic keeps the route closest to the original generated path.
  • Coverage, Soft, Balanced, Strong, Center and Mix adjust how much the route prefers coverage, smoother movement or central tiles.

Use Mau Editor preview to compare styles. Pick the one that looks safest for your cave before saving.

Saving rules

  • Do not save while Phase 1 is still mapping. Save is allowed only after mapping is complete and the final loop was generated.
  • When saved after Phase 1, Mau saves the full editor JSON locally in your hunts folder.
  • If cloud is available, the same full editor hunt is uploaded so it can be opened from Mau Studio.

After saving

  • The saved hunt becomes a normal loadable hunt, but it also contains the extra map data needed by Mau Editor.
  • When loaded later, it should show the normal Refill section instead of the Explorer setup.

When to use it

  • Use this when you already have a normal hunt with waypoints, config and refill, but it has no Mau Editor map snapshots yet.
  • Record Map does not create a new route from scratch. It records map data while the existing route is being walked.

How to record

  • Load the normal hunt in Walker.
  • Open Walker Config, go to Configs and turn Record Map ON.
  • Start Walker and let it walk the hunt. Mau will show progress such as mapped waypoints, remaining waypoints and next missing waypoint.
  • Do not press Save until Record Map says the mapping is complete.

Saving the upgraded hunt

  • If mapping is incomplete, Save is blocked and Mau tells you which waypoints still need snapshots.
  • When mapping is complete, press Save. Mau saves the upgraded full editor JSON locally and uploads it to cloud when available.
  • After that, the hunt can be loaded normally or opened in Mau Studio for visual editing.

Record Map is for normal hunts that are not already mapped. If the hunt is already an Auto Explorer/editor hunt, this option may be hidden.

Walker stuck

  • Check if the next waypoint is blocked by a creature, closed door or missing STAND on a special tile.
  • For door issues, confirm Auto Loot is not clicking the door tile while the character stands on it.

Cloud upload failed

  • Check that the logged email matches the selected engine account and that the website session is valid.
